As someone who lives in Bangkok and used to organize parties here, people expect me to be able to answer that question in an eye blink.
At least once a week I have someone that drop me a message on Facebook or IG like "Hey mate, what are the best clubs in Bangkok right now ?"
And my answer is always the same and its really lame: "It depends what you like"
Because I don't know you bro.
What I like is probably not what you like.
What's the priority for you?
Getting laid? See what Thai nightlife is like? You want great DJs? Lots of girls? cheap drinks? You're into Hip Hop? Electro?
Tell me what you want, I'll tell you where to go.
So I can't tell you what is the best club in Bangkok in 2020, but I know what's the best option for each situation.

The different clubs in Bangkok
Depending on the situation, here's what I would recommend :
My Go-to club
If there's nothing special that night, no specific request from anyone in the group, my go-to club in Bangkok would definitely be Sing Sing.
Even after trying every club in Bangkok, it’s by far the venue I recommend the most.
First, for the design and the atmosphere.
It's different from other nightclubs, so it helps you disconnect from the rest of the world.
And if I got people who never been there, I can guarantee it's a must-see.
It's completely different from other clubs you've ever seen.
In a good way.
It’s also always packed, any day of the week.
The music is always great.
Even though you've got different DJs every night, so far I've never been disappointed by the music.
Sure, it’s on the high-end side and a bit expensive but the entrance is free and they use premium alcohol for their standard drinks.
And that’s something I’m sensitive to as my hangovers get worst and worst.
Good booze hurt less the next day, trust me. So drink the good stuff.

Best Clubs to Pick Up Girls
Insanity and Levels without a doubt.
Probably because the ratio inside is close to 2 girls for 1 guy on any given day of the week (so I let you imagine what it's like for ladies night).
That gives you a lot of options.
Music is ok, the service is good.
I feel like the bottle service is getting more expensive with time, especially for Insanity but with their new location in Sukhumvit Soi 11, they've also improved the quality of the entertainment (dancers and DJs).
So, of course, the price is going up with the quality. I guess you're gonna have to deal with it.
Get a standing table by the stage and let the magic happen.
🐵 Mojo Tip: At Insanity, get there before midnight from Sunday to Thursday and get 50% of your bottle.
🐵 Mojo Tip 2: if you're more into commercial music and live performances, go to Levels Club instead, it's 50 meters from Insanity, in Sukhumvit Soi 11.
Best Club with a "Thai Vibe"
I love Levels, Insanity, Sugar, and Sing Sing but I mostly go there when I have groups I'm taking care of.
Sometimes, I want something more Thai, with less expats and tourists.
In that case, I mostly go to RCA (Route 66 or Onyx) or Demo in Thonglor.
It uses to be only full of Thais and now it's more like 80/20, but you still find more locals than in any club in Sukhumvit soi 11.
All clubs are great, Demo and Onyx tend to be more expensive than Route 66 but they got some of the most beautiful crowd too.
Route 66 on the other is good when you got a larger group or when you don't want to break the bank.
The club is huge and has 3 different rooms (Commercial, Hip Hop, and Live Band) and has a huge terrace.
Great if you're with smokers.
🐵 Mojo Tip: These clubs close at 2 am, so get there early.
Best Hip Hop Clubs in Bangkok
Hip Hop is the new Pop and if you're not into EDM the best clubs for you are either Sugar in Sukhumvit Soi 11 or Penta in Ekamai.
Sugar is a big club with both local and international crowd, dancers, international DJs, and all the old school and actual Hip Hop songs you like.
Busy every night of the week.
Penta is way smaller but the vibe there is amazing.
It was started by the most popular DJ crew in Thailand, Bangkok Invaders.
You'll often find members of the crew there, either behind the decks or in the room with their friend.
Better for weekends.
The Club for High Rollers
A gentlemen club is still a club at the end of the day.
The PIMP is not for everyone and it's definitely not for every night.
But when it's a special night with the boys or if you got something to celebrate, the PIMP is still the best gentlemen club in Bangkok.
It will destroy your bank account but you're guaranteed to have fun and some really gorgeous company.

The Cheapest Option
I usually don't go to Khaosan because I’ve lost enough days of my life after partying there, hangover because of the cheap buckets.
Plus, it's about 30 minutes drive from my place.
Quite far for my lazy ass.
But if you want to get shitfaced on a budget, you can still go there with 1,000฿ and you're gonna have enough change left to pay for the ride home and a ham and cheese at 7/Eleven.
With deals like "3 Buckets for 400฿", or a tower of beer for something close to this price, you won't get ruined.
If you live here, it's not for every weekend, but once in a while, it's fun.
And I must say, if you've never been there, it's something to see at least once.
They also have 2 clubs worth checking out, "The Club" (really original right) and another called Susie Q.
So, What's the Best Club in Bangkok ?
Mate, it depends on what you like, who is with you and what's more important for you that night.
All I know is Bangkok got so many options, and there's no night off here, so you'll have a good night if you're with the right people.
