Laos Party and Travel Guide

When you live in Thailand, Laos is the place where you come for your visa run every few months or years.

But if you got the chance to go there for more than a visa run, Laos has actually a lot to offer.

What to do in Laos ?

You can do more than drinking Lao Beer all day while you're in Laos.

Actually, it's a good place to work if you're a digital nomad with good internet and quite a few co-working spaces and nice coffee shops popping up everywhere.

It's also a beautiful country with the countryside where everything still raw, unlike a ton of places in Thailand that are actually packed with tourists.

In the north, Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang are well known for their backpackers and insane parties.

Vientiane

Vientiane isn't the busiest capital of South East Asia but it has a special vibe that makes it worth paying a visit.

So if you plan to go to Laos, make sure to take a few days to explore its capital.

If you have the chance to be a digital nomad and to be slow traveling you can even stay a few extra days and get some work done there in some of the really cool cafes and coworking spaces that you can find across the city.

I've got a long list of things I want to see in Laos. From the Laodi rum distillery to the popular rivers of the north.
